Facing the Waist Cincher Roll / Folds Up Problem – Let’s Solve It
What is waist training ? A garment can provide you with a smooth hourglass shape, but they might bunch or roll up if the waist trainer doesn’t fit properly. There may be several issues causes your waist trainer rolling up, such as improperly sized or not wearing it properly and etc. Therefore, you have to make sure you are wearing it correctly. If the waist trainer still keeps rolling up, you might try to use the safety pins or tape to keep it in place. However, most rolling-up problems come from manufactured products or improperly sized, so you may have to buy new products that look great to prevent rolling-up issues happen again. Method 1: Putting on the trainer
Stretch the waist trainer before you put it on for the first time. You have to pull both ends few times before trying to wrap it around your waist. However, waist trainers should feel a little tight on your waist but should be able to fit into it snugly.
- If your waist trainer garment has hooks-and-eye, you can attach the hooks one at a time in front of your waist. Stretch it a little bit if you can’t.
- If it’s a latex band, then you can step into it and pull it up to your bust.
Be sure the trainer is the right side up. Most of the waist trainer comes with a panel of elastic which runs along the bottom. And the band should be placed on your hips. You can feel the waist trainer will not fit properly if you accidentally wear it upside down.
Pull it up as high as possible. Make sure the top band is sitting comfortably above your waist, so it will provide you with a flattering shape while preventing you bunches and rolls in the waist trainer.
Wear an underwire bra on top of the waist trainer. Tuck the top of the waist trainer under the wire, so the bottom of the bra can pin down the top of the trainer. Also, certain waist trainer comes with hooks which will attach to the bra, so can keep it in place.
Method 2: Keeping It in Place
Stick it down with double-sided tape. Wear the trainer on as you usually do and adjusted it. Place a few pieces of double-sided tape inside of the waistband and leg openings, then press down to keep your waist trainer in place.
Wash your trainer based on its label. Most waist trainers need special care such as dry cleaning or hand wash. Otherwise, the waist trainer’s material could weaken and causing it rolling up. The care instructions are usually located on a label on the inside seam of the waist trainer.
Secure it to the bra with safety pins. Place one safety pin on each side of the waist trainer. This will make it firmly attached to your bra. If your trainer rolls somewhere then you put the safety pin there. Be careful not to get injured by safety pins.
Method 3: Buying a Waist Trainer
Try on waist trainer to ensure proper size. A too small trainer can easily roll up, while a too big trainer may slip down. Always try the trainer first before buying it. It means too small if you uncomfortable to breathe in your waist trainer.
Remember that low waist trainer garment can roll down over the tummy or even cause unwanted bulges. Otherwise, the high waist trainer garment will smooth out your entire belly and less likely to roll up and down.
Consider buying a best waist trainer with boning structure are good than normal cincher because the boning can keep it in place without easy folding up and down.
